What do you need to do in order to join the study?
To enroll in the I3 research study, you'll first undergo a thorough review of the study and its consent form with our dedicated study staff. Following this, you'll be required to complete a background questionnaire. Additionally, as an optional aspect of the study, during your routine colonoscopy, you'll have the opportunity to fill out a brief additional questionnaire. As part of this procedure, we may also collect up to 10 additional biopsies and draw one vial of blood for further analysis.

Additional inquiries can be addressed on our FAQ page.

FAQ
If you're interested in contributing tissue samples for further research related to IBD, we're currently engaged in an ongoing effort to establish a comprehensive IBD tissue database. This initiative involves collecting tissue samples to establish a repository for future studies. The ultimate objective is to enhance IBD care by developing a database capable of identifying numerous factors influencing the condition, pinpointing optimal therapies for individual patients, and identifying those at higher risk for complications. This personalized approach aims to maximize treatment benefits while minimizing risks. To participate in future studies, simply indicate your consent on the form provided; no additional steps are required.
