​​Christopher Schmoyer MD, MS joined the faculty of the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine in 2022, where he currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency and inflammatory bowel disease subspecialty training at Virginia Commonwealth University. His gastroenterology fellowship training was received at Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Schmoyer provides expert, compassionate care to those with inflammatory bowel disease, with a special focus on those who require advanced enteral or parenteral nutrition support. He also performs deep enteroscopy to manage complications of small bowel Crohn’s Disease.
